    The World’s Only Neurodiversity Tartan

Turning grey into colour and celebrating every mind” 💕

    💛Inclusion
    💜 Acceptance
    💙 Belonging
    💚 Pride

The Pride of Neurodiversity Tartan was created to represent the principles of neurodiversity inclusion, celebrating the visibility, value and contributions of neurodivergent individuals.

Officially registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans in 2024, the tartan was designed by Chloe Jackson, founder of Pride of Neurodiversity (PoN) and author of the Chlo Jack on Her Mac blog.

Its vibrant colour palette was deliberately chosen to reflect the diverse emotions, experiences and strengths that form part of the neurodivergent journey. Each colour contributes to a visual representation of acceptance, belonging, understanding, hope and empowerment.

The tartan serves as a symbol of pride, identity and advocacy, promoting a future where neurodiversity is recognised, valued and embraced across all areas of society.

As the world’s only tartan created to represent the full neurodiversity umbrella, it stands as a lasting reminder that every mind has value and deserves to be seen, understood and celebrated.

Meet the Founder & Her Partner

    Chloe Jackson & Ali Weir

Pride of Neurodiversity (PoN) was founded by Chloe Jackson, a neurodivergent nurse, advocate and creator of the world’s only Neurodiversity Tartan.

Alongside Chloe throughout the PoN journey has been her partner, Ali, whose encouragement, patience and belief in the vision have helped PoN grow from an idea into a recognised social enterprise.

Together they have travelled across Scotland sharing the story of the Pride of Neurodiversity Tartan, attending events, meeting supporters and promoting a future where neurodivergent people are accepted, valued and celebrated.

Many of the memories behind PoN are woven into the tartan itself—from exploring Scotland and building community connections to creating opportunities for greater understanding and inclusion.

At its heart, PoN is built on connection, belonging and the belief that every mind deserves to be celebrated.

🩵 One Tartan. Every Mind. Endless Pride.

I’m Chloe

Welcome to my website. My name is Chloe, a 31-year-old registered nurse and the 2024 RCN Scotland Student Nurse of the Year, recognised for my work advocating for and supporting neurodivergent nurses.

I am proudly neurodivergent. I was diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia in my early 20s, and later with ADHD and autism at 27. I have always known I was “different”, and over time I have learned to embrace my neurodivergence. Advocacy for neurodivergent people is now one of my true “eye sparkles” (hyper-focuses). I work to shine a positive light on neurodiversity and to empower others, knowing first-hand the impact of stigma and the turbulence many of us experience. These challenges fuel my commitment to raising awareness, promoting understanding and celebrating inclusivity. You can learn more about my work in neurodiversity here. I am delighted to introduce this one-of-a-kind, signature neurodiversity tartan to the world.

Why did I design the tartan?

I designed this tartan to spark positive, informed conversations about neurodiversity—between those who wear it and those who admire it—so that together we can help educate society about the realities of neurodivergence. I invite anyone to wear this inclusive neurodiversity tartan: whether you are neurodivergent, think you might be, love or support someone who is, want to champion neuro-inclusiveness in society, or simply feel drawn to its colours and design.
